BI Media operates and publishes Bad Instructions, its customer-facing educational media and digital-product brand. BI Media is based in New York, United States. Questions about this policy may be sent to badinstructions.media@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Audit information: the answers you select, the pattern calculated from those answers, and the correction associated with that result.
• Subscriber information: your email address, consent choice, audit result, and the product or correction that interested you.
• Purchase information: if you buy a product, the name, email, order, payment status, tax, and support information needed to complete and support that transaction. Full payment-card details are handled by the checkout provider and are not stored by Bad Instructions.
• Technical information: providers that host and protect the site may process IP address, device, browser, referral, and request-log information needed to operate and secure the service.
• Messages: information you include when contacting us for support or another request.

3. How we use information

• Calculate and display your audit result.
• Send requested corrections, product notices, and occasional emails.
• Process, deliver, and support digital purchases.
• Respond to questions, refund requests, and technical issues.
• Protect the site, prevent abuse, and understand basic performance.
• Meet legal, tax, accounting, and compliance obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your audit result to make automated decisions about employment, credit, insurance, healthcare, or other legally significant matters.

4. Service providers

We use a limited number of providers to operate the service:

• MailerLite stores subscriber records and sends requested emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message.
• Lemon Squeezy will process checkout, taxes, receipts, payments, refunds, and digital delivery when product sales open.
• OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers host and deliver this website.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and only for the functions needed to provide their services.

5. Cookies and similar technology

Bad Instructions does not currently use advertising cookies or sell data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Hosting, security, email, and checkout providers may use cookies or similar technology that are necessary to deliver, protect, or measure their services.

6. Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal records. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe at any time. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your email, subject to records we must retain for legal or transactional reasons. 8. Children

The site and products are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
