1. Agreement

BI Media operates and publishes the customer-facing Bad Instructions brand. By using this site or purchasing a Bad Instructions product, you agree to these Terms of Use and the linked policies. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase a product.

2. Educational purpose only

The audit, articles, emails, scripts, worksheets, trackers, scorecards, and other materials are general educational tools. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, tax, career, employment, or other professional advice. They do not diagnose a person, relationship, employer, or workplace, and they do not guarantee any particular result.

You remain responsible for your decisions. Seek a qualified professional when your circumstances require advice tailored to you.

3. Digital products and delivery

Product pages describe the files, formats, price, and expected delivery. Products are delivered electronically; no physical product is shipped. When checkout is available, Lemon Squeezy will process payment, applicable taxes, receipts, and delivery as merchant of record. You must provide a valid email address and accurate checkout information.

4. Personal-use license

A completed purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the purchased materials for your own personal use. Copyright and all other rights remain with BI Media, publisher of Bad Instructions, and its licensors.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or publicly post the files.
• Remove ownership notices or present the materials as your own.
• Create a competing product by copying substantial parts of the files.
• Use the materials for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity.

You may print a reasonable number of copies for your personal use and enter your own information into editable tools.

5. Prices, payment, and refunds

Prices may change before purchase. The price shown at checkout controls the transaction. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. Payment-provider terms may also apply to the transaction.

6. Email communications

If you opt in, we may send audit results, corrections, product notices, and other marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. Transactional and support messages may still be sent when necessary to complete a purchase or respond to you.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue site features or products. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. If a purchased file is corrupt or unavailable, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to restore access or provide an appropriate remedy.

8. Disclaimer and limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. BI Media and Bad Instructions are not responsible for decisions, negotiations, employment outcomes, lost income, or other consequences arising from how you apply the materials.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
